Welcome to the wedding of Kerri & David. One of the loveliest couples we’ve ever met and an intimate destination elopement where all dreams come true.
After two canceled wedding dates due to a pandemic, these two decided to completely re-write the script for their wedding day. With exhaustion at their fingertips from year long rescheduling, they held on and chose something completely different for their wedding day. Their hearts desired refinement, purpose and meaning. Something special and joyful for their journey to become husband and wife.
They took their vows to the west coast, gave a toast along sunflowers in the mountains of Oregon and walked the shores of Cannon Beach hand in hand. It all started in the Bluegrass State of Kentucky with an intimate private garden ceremony held at the Henry Clay Estate. The greatest moments for their wedding adventure were found simply with one another, in places that held special memories.
Kerri & David, we wish you all the happiness in the world. May you continue to love and serve one another with your whole hearts. We loved documenting your wedding day and getting to know such sweet friends during the process!
We love you both! – Casey & Sara
After sharing their gallery & video, Kerri & David shared the sweetest note with us, shared below, that we just have to share. Our hearts are full! The greatest gift we could ever receive.
“Finding Sara and Casey was sweet serendipity. After Sara captured our little family for Christmas, we knew exactly who to connect with when we started planning our wedding. The beauty of hiring these two wonderful people is that they take all of the weight out of a planning couple’s hands and offer endless knowledge, help and support for any ideas and dreams they can think of. Sara & Casey did just that – not once, not twice, but three times for us. After the COVID-19 pandemic unraveled our original plans for a spring wedding, they lovingly helped us restructure and reschedule everything for a late summer ceremony. When that fell apart, they came together with us over pizza and drinks to get to the bottom of what our hearts desired. “If you could do anything,” Sara encouraged. We took a breath and told Sara and Casey what we were dreaming of amidst all of the chaos and uncertainty of the year: erasing everything we thought we should do for our wedding and choosing to celebrate our incredible love for one another. Without hesitation, they were all in. We planned an elopement in our home town of Lexington, Kentucky and then whisked ourselves away to Portland and the coast of Oregon, to read love letters to one another and sink our toes into the Pacific. Planning everything with Sara and Casey was like planning a weekend trip with two close friends, and it made us so giddy and full of butterflies for our wedding day.
Sara and Casey don’t just capture moments in time for a love-struck couple on their wedding day. They bottle every feeling and every detail of those moments for the couple to relive over and over again. Their work is a true reflection of how unbelievably creative they are as photographers and videographers.
Sara’s attention to the finer details is one thing we love most about her work. She effortlessly works her magic to pair mesmeric spaces with the intimacy of a moment, creating bespoke keepsakes unique to each and every couple. Her gorgeous use of natural light transforms her photographs into ethereal works of art.
Casey’s superpower is being in the right place at the right time. He catches heart-stopping memories that normally dissolve into a busy day. It’s such a joy watching them unfold again in our video. Casey’s talent transcends ordinary wedding videography; his patience for the perfect shot, his seamless stitching of moments and his flavorful music palette knocks his work out of the park. We could watch our wedding highlight video a hundred times over and feel every single butterfly we felt on our special day.
As a couple, we prioritized hiring the perfect photographer and videographer above everything else. We are elated to share how Sara and Casey became so much more than that. We can’t wait to follow their sweet family as it grows this spring, as well as their ever-blooming work for their future couples.”
All our love,
The Todas
